Great vibe at the G[P]RC Summit 2025 Africa, where I shared a keynote on how can organisations think and act more strategically: “Business 2035: Craft Your Strategic Moonshot – From Operational Compliance to Strategic Advantage.”

Beyond the Checkbox

Too often, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) are treated as brakes: things that slow decisions, restrict creativity, or keep innovation in check. But what if we flipped the script?

What if GRC became the grip that allows organisations to accelerate SAFELY, helping them make bolder, smarter, more confident moves toward their moonshot goals?

That’s the shift we explored in this session: from control to clarity, from rules and paperwork to trust and results, and from policing performance to powering performance.
