Just wrapped up an incredible experience at Manufacturing Indaba 2025, where more than 500 industry leaders, innovators, and change-makers gathered around one powerful question: How do we set an ambitious 2035 moonshot for Africa’s manufacturing industry, and actually execute it?
From Vision to Action
Africa’s manufacturing potential is immense. But ambition alone won’t transform the continent - Strategy Execution will. In my keynote, I invited delegates to look beyond incremental improvements and think boldly:
What if Africa became the world’s next powerhouse for sustainable, tech-driven Manufacturing Industry?
What if our factories became ecosystems of innovation, powered by green energy, smart automation, and human-centered leadership?
What if every company defined its own strategic moonshot, and built a simple, actionable strategy to reach it?
Because a vision without execution is just imagination.

The energy in the room was electric ⚡️ from policy-makers to plant engineers, from entrepreneurs to investors, everyone shared one conviction: Africa is ready.
We explored how strategy frameworks, leadership mindsets, and cross-sector collaboration can turn ambition into tangible results - faster, smarter, and more sustainably.
