Ditch the outdated Mission, Vision, and Values.

Let's introduce the triple P :
• P for Purpose
• P for Pinnacle
• P for Practices

It's much more than a mere change of semantics; it's a paradigm shift in how you define the strategic trajectory of your organisation. In fact, you can label it however you prefer, as far as you follow the right principles:

• PURPOSE: Define your Purpose as a Mission, a Mandate, a Raison d'être, or any other term you prefer, as long as it adheres to the principles we discussed and addresses the fundamental question: Why do you exist?

• PINNACLE: Identify your Pinnacle as a Vision, a BHAG, an Aspiration, or any another fancy designation, provided its ethos is sound and assists in clarifying what you strive to accomplish: What success will look like (for your clients, shareholders, stakeholders and/or society)?

• PRACTICES: Frame your Practices as a set of values or principles, so long as as they are strategic (not operational), as far as they embed deep transformational actions, as far as they guide your team towards strategic transformation
