The Trust Fall

Post date :

In my experience, one of the biggest killers of strategy is low (or no) trust.

You can design the slickest deck in the world during a workshop. But without deep team 🤝 TRUST 🤝, it’s nothing more than shelf décor.

That’s why I personally believe strategy workshops need more than rational thinking. They are a great place to play with emotional thinking. They’re an opportunity, if necessary, to strengthen bonds and build trust.

One of my favourite exercises? The TRUST FALL: one person stands on a chair, closes their eyes, and falls back, fully relying on the team to catch them.

On paper, it looks trivial.
In the room, it’s unforgettable.
It shifts energy, raises trust, and unlocks strategy execution power.

👉 The "catch": Trust is the secret weapon of strategy workshops. Because strategy isn’t just what’s on the slide, it’s the culture you build in the room.
